Baseball, Irish Americans, beautiful old buildings and lots of photo ops!

Sean and I are planning a trip to Vancouver and Boston in July. Sean’s cousin is getting married so its the perfect excuse for a little mini holiday. Unfortunately I will be missing one of my own closest friends’ weddings but I am planning the mother of all hens’ nights to make it up to her.

We will spend a little while in Vancouver to see half his family and friends and we are seeing one of my favourite bands The National in that week! Its going to be busy.
Boston actually really intrigues me. I have my Rough Guide highlighted, bought myself a new backpack and have been practicing my best BAWSTON RAWB accent. We will get to see the famed Fenway Park that Sean is always raving about(I really loved baseball when we saw a game last year), I’ll absolutely punish my cameras, but mostly, I will get to meet the rest of Sean’s family whom I’ve heard so much about.

I will get to meet aunties, uncles, cousins and cousin’s little babies! But the most important one of all that I can’t wait to meet is his grandma. Its kind of strange to me that I haven’t met all these people yet because Sean met pretty much every member of my family on our first family gathering back in 2004. All my rellies live in Sydney, so he can’t escape them, poor boy!

His family on the other hand are spread all over the globe, from Vancouver to Boston to England. I’m really looking forward to this trip and the last thing thing to do before I type up our itinerary is give this tour a name.
